I am a 17 year old Georgian that is currently studying at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. I was inspired to develop this organization upon getting Salmonella (leaving me to have been hospitalized for four days), which could have been much more consequential if the adequate resources weren’t accessible to me. That situation and other scenarios (by which I witnessed the grueling impacts of poverty on adolescents and their lack of access to proper healthcare) expanded my mind to the decreasing medical support present in Georgia to those in need. Therefore, I decided to collaborate with my partner in hopes of creating the change that our country needs.

I am currently a 17 year old high school student studying in European

School here in Georgia. From that same school, I had a teacher who

unfortunately passed away as a consequence of her inability to reach a

hospital while in a rural region of Georgia before her spinal cord injury became fatal. At the time, the only hospital that could provide the healthcare she needed was in Tbilisi, and reaching it from where she was took too long. Therefore, I began to investigate and reflect on how rural citizens and those who can’t access to affordable treatment suffer daily as a result of these factors. In turn, I collaborated with my partner in hopes to develop a more permanent solution for this urgent matter.
